Found your review while searching for Gundam Wing stuff, it's a bad habit that pops up every once in a while. Anyway, your intro was very touching. Articulated how I felt about Gundam Wing the first crazy, confusing time I saw it on Cartoon Network. It's true, it's impossible for me to look at this series objectively because I encountered it when I was the same age as the protagonists and I reacted to it as a young teenager would--emotionally.
